Immediate Support for Families in Crisis


According to Census.gov, 15.5% of residents in Grand Prairie, TX are living under the poverty line. Grand Prairie United Charities (GPUC) was founded in 1955 to meet the emergency needs of Grand Prairie residents who are experiencing financial setbacks.

GPUC offers relief services consisting of: On-Site Food Pantry, Rent/Mortgage/Shelter Assistance, Utility (electric, gas, water) Assistance, Prescription/Medication Assistance, and Information and Referral. The programs are extended to include those residing in zip codes 75050, 75051, 75052, 75053 and 75054, who are experiencing financial crisis situations and/or in need of food.
